Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The manuscript submitted by Barbosa et al. presents a numerical analysis of the influence of oxygen and glucose in healthy and tumor cells. The authors conducted a comparative analysis between different oxygen and glucose levels with a computational models. While the study offers interesting insights, several issues need attention before recommending it for publication.

Major concerns to be addressed:

1. From Figure 7 to Figure 16, please remake these figures since it is very confusing. The authors are comparing the same condition between the healthy and tumor cells as described in the manuscript. Figure 7 vs 12, 8 vs 13, 9 vs 14, 10 vs 15 and 11 vs 16. In this case, please rearrange the orders of these figures since it is quite difficult to jump between the figures in the current format.

2. Fig 8 and Fig 13, please make the Y-axis with the same range since the authors are comparing them. Same for 9 vs 14, 10 vs 15. Ideally, the authors should present them in the same frame to see the difference between the tumor and healthy cells. Are they have significant different on the evolution of the volume at the final time point? Or IS there any different on the surviving time? In the current form of the figures, it is quite difficult to see any difference between the healthy and tumor cells.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Barbosa et al. present a study to employ meshless methods for analyzing the influence of oxygen and glucose during the proliferation of healthy and cancer cells. The following points need to be addressed:

1) In Figure 3b, can the authors describe how exp n=2 and exp n=3 was obtained?

2) Can the authors include a discussion section on the potential applications of their study application?

Comments on the Quality of English Language

There are typos in the manuscript e.g. in line 295, 450; that need to be corrected.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors have successfully addressed my comments in the revised manuscript. For me, it is okay to be published.
