Comments and Suggestions for Authors
Dear authors,
I have a substantive comment only on point 5.4. Sensitivity analysis is performed, for example, using the Sobol method.
Moreover:
l. 83-86 and other excessive gaps before and after variables
l. 83 should be „Figure 1b” without drop, same in l. 97
Fig. 2b descriptions too small, should be corrected
Formulas (8) - (18) no reference to literature
l. 211 notation 1.57Ex10-5 may be misleading, as the letter E can be treated in different ways
l. 206-222 text should be stylistically corrected
Fig. 6-8 Inflexion Points should be marked in a different way
Figs. 6, 7 The ti/hc parameter in the figures should be specified either increasing or decreasing

Comments(1) I have a substantive comment only on point 5.4. Sensitivity analysis is performed, for example, using the Sobol method.
Response: The sensitivity analysis was performed using Gray Relational Analysis. The analysis was added in the revised paper.
Comments(2) Moreover: l. 83-86 and other excessive gaps before and after variables
Response: No excessive gaps were found. It may be caused by the layout of the Microsoft Word.

Comments on the Quality of English Language
An extensive editing of English language is required to improve the readability of the paper.
Author Response
Comments(1) There are several English language errors that make it difficult to understand the text. To this aim, the Authors are strongly encouraged to carefully correct all these errors in the revised version of the paper. For example, the last part of the Abstract should be rewritten in a clearer form, such as: “It is obtained that the structure loading efficiency has an inflexion during the transient process from low to high pressure, meaning that in the presence of low inner pressure loading, the loading efficiency of hollow corrugated sandwich structures is not always better than the homogeneous structures, while in the presence of high inner pressure loading, the sandwich structures have a large advantage”.
Response: We have gone through the manuscript to correct writing errors and to polish the English language.
Comments(2) The topological parameters shown in Figure 2b should be enlarged to improve readability.
Response: Revised
Comments(3) The equations of the boundary conditions (i.e., both ends fixed, see [13]) should be reported at the beginning of section 3.1.
Response: The boundary condition was added.
Comments(4) In the Introduction it is reported the sentence: “For pressurized hollow cylinders with anisotropic materials Lekhnitskii [10] and Luo [11] presented the elastic closed-form solutions”. In fact, many other works are reported in literature that deal with the mechanical behavior of anisotropic cylindrical shells subjected to external loading. The Authors are therefore invited to add and discuss within the Introduction other papers on this topic, with particular reference to the case of pulsating external load, among which for example:
- a) https://doi.org/10.1016/j.compstruct.2008.08.002
- b) https://doi.org/10.1016/j.tws.2019.106213
Response: More references were added in the introduction.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors
The paper presents the mechanical behavior of hollow corrugated sandwich cylinders under internal pressure.
The topic of fabrication and behavior of corrugated sandwich panels and cylinders is addressed in the technical literature in recent years. The reference list must be extended. The most recent cited research comes from 2012.
The drawbacks of the published research should be stressed out in detail.
The highlights of the paper should be presented versus previous research. The authors state that the paper objective is to prove that the loading efficiency of pressurized hollow corrugated sandwich cylinder has an inflexion when the load increases. The Conclusion section should refer to the effect in different applications.
The Conclusions section should also detail the limitations of the studied structure.
The authors should discuss the effect of assumptions on the results (axes coincidence, lack of slippage between panel and the face sheets etc.).
The accuracy of results should be detailed.
Is R from Fig. 1 and relations the radius or the diameter?
Many abbreviations are not explained.
Passive forms are better in academic paper than the active use of ”we”.
Comments on the Quality of English Language
The English of the paper has to be improved (Taken the engine combustor of aerospace vehicle as prototype, Liu [16] further studied on … , the mechanics behavior, who connect with each other tightly, The basis material of the facesheets, Considering three failure modes, facesheet yielding, core member yielding and core member buckling., …facesheet is relatively highest, Figure 7-Figure 10 presents the relations, with the increasing of the inner pressure, etc.).

Response: The cited research were updated in the revised manuscript.
Comments(2) The drawbacks of the published research should be stressed out in detail.
Response: The drawbacks of the published research were included in the introduction part.
Comments(3) The highlights of the paper should be presented versus previous research. Comments(4) The Conclusions section should also detail the limitations of the studied structure.
Response: Added.
Comments(5) The authors should discuss the effect of assumptions on the results (axes coincidence, lack of slippage between panel and the face sheets etc.).
Response: The assumptions made in this work were based on similar research. Due to that the failure of structures was not considered in the calculation, the assumption that lack of slippage between the core and facesheets was reasonable.
Comments(6) The accuracy of results should be detailed.
Response: The results calculated by the model in this research was compared to the calculation in reference, which can provide that the results are accurate. See Section3.4.
Comments(7) Is R from Fig. 1 and relations the radius or the diameter?
Response: R is the radius. Descriptions have been corrected in the manuscript.
Comments(8) Many abbreviations are not explained.
Response: The explanation of abbreviations have been added in the revised paper.
Comments(9) Passive forms are better in academic paper than the active use of ”we”.
Response: Corrected.

Response: We have gone through the paper to improve the English writing.

The paper presents a Mechanical behavior of hollow corrugated sandwich cylinders under inner pressure loading. The refs are very old, paper required major revision along the manuscript. Novelty not clear, not clear the contribution of the paper. I am not recommended to be considered for publication.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors
The paper addresses a research topic in the topic of the journal.
The abstract is quite well done, as is the introduction.
On the problem description part, I suggest that all the terms in the mathematical relations should be explained, for example beta is not specified what it stands for. Figure 2 can be enlarged as the notations are not visible.
Similarly in section 3, the notations in the mathematical relations are not exemplified.
The references part can be expanded, and consequently the introduction.
By solving these problems, the paper can be accepted.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors
The reviewed manuscript presents the problem of the structural behavior of the hollow corrugated sandwich cylinder under inner pressure loading. The manuscript is written very legibly, the scientific problem undertaken is explained at the very beginning, and the solutions obtained are interesting. The authors have explained their way of thinking and working, which makes the text much easier to understand. The symbols used are described, and the cited publications are also appropriate. The obtained results are illustrated graphically. The only remark concerns the quality of the figures included in the manuscript. The fonts in the figures do not correspond to the fonts in the manuscript; some of the descriptions are too small, which may make them illegible.

Dear Authors,
Please make the following corrections:
1. Fig. 2a - error in the description of the horizontal axis
2. Fig. 2b - the figure should be corrected, because the descriptions of the parameters and elements of the figure overlap making the figure unreadable
3. Table 2 - exponents should be as superscripts, and the word “outer” should start with a capital letter
4. l. 324 - no reference to literature at GRA
Author Response
