Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Congratulations to authors for addressing this clinically important genetic ploymorphism. In this manuscript authors thoroughly evaluated  effects of genetic polymorphisms of Cathepsin A on metabolism of Tenofovir Alafenamide drug in in healthy Japanese subjects. Authors provided clear background to this research and explained methods thoroughly. Presented results effectively supported by strong data and discussion section includes sufficient details to understand importance of this work.

I dont have any additional comments or corrections to authors.

Reviewer 2 Report

The authors investigated the differences in the metabolic activity of Cathepsin A polymorphisms for Tenofovir Alafenamide. The authors found that the metabolic activity of Leucin 8-repeat type of Cathepsin A was higher than the activity of Leucin 9-repeat type. The data is presented clearly.
