Dear authors,

Fusarium diseases and control strategies not only in association with the currently most relevant species Fusarium graminearum are very important fields of mycological research. Your work aims towards the use of bacterial strains for a biological control of the pathogen. Your results add important knowledge to this continously expanding field of pest management.

In my opinion, your manuscript is not ready for publication yet. Starting from the language, especially sentence structure and the quality of figures to missing references, there are several aspects that need to be improved before. I added 158 comments/corrections/suggestions to your work, in order to help you improve it. Please find those in the pdf file.

This paper studied the effect of Bacillus velezensis BZR 336g and BZR 517 against Fusarium fungi on winter wheat and there are some problems need to be solved before acceptance.

1. B. velezensis” in the title, full name instead of abbreviations.

2. Please reintegrate the introduction part. The segmentation of the introduction part is not clear.

3. Please unify the format of the full text about “ml” or “mL”.

4. Line 153, Please verify that “48 hours at 28℃” these parameters are correct

5. Please unify the format of the full text about space between numbers and units.

6. Please adjust the format of Table 1 and 3. Too many horizontal lines.

7. In 3.1.3. Identification of the structure of bacterial metabolites by mass spectrometry, detailed description of the structure derivation process is required.

8. The purified peptides need to have the verification to show the antifungal function. What are the differences between the purified peptides and those in previous reports?

9. The conclusion part is not refined enough.
