Topic: Influence of tillage, straw returning, and mineral fertilization on the stability and associated organic content of soil aggregates in the North China Plain
In this paper, the author conducted a well experiment on influence of tillage, straw returning, and mineral fertilization on the stability and associated organic content of soil aggregates. The treatment design and the results are interesting. The overall paper is fine but here is some need of substantial minor revisions.
Comments:
Abstract
Abstract is brief and give clear objectives of the work conducted.
Introduction
Most of the citation is from many years back, there is need to add latest literature
Results:
As results are summarized in one graph. Results should also be explained in comparison mean by two way ANOVA using comparison test.
Conclusion:
Need more lines of result of improvement with percentage.
In general, attention should be given to spelling and grammatical errors,

Dear Authors,
the manuscript titled "Influence of tillage, straw returning, and mineral fertilization on the stability and associated organic content of soil aggregates in the North China Plain" is an interesting research also because it concerns a long-term (33 years) effects of farmland management on soil stability and fertility.
Nevertheless, in my opinion, the main weakness of your research is the experimental design because CT and NT treatments are non the same in order of N, P, and straw levels. This directly affects the possibility of comparing the CT and NT treatments having as the only variable the tillage or no-tillage.
As major revision, you should better explain why the CT and NT treatments were not exactly the same for N, P, and straw levels.
Moreover, also statistical interactions between all the different sources of variability would have been appreciated.
However, in the attached reviewed PDF, you can find some notes to enhance the quality of the work.
