Dear authots

I advise making the following changes to your manuscript to raise its quality:

Line 18-22: Rephrase the sentences; it isn't easy to understand.

Line 87 and 90: did you use two methods to determine germination, 20/25oC or 25 oC.

Line 92: Rephrase the sentences; it isn't easy to understand.

Line 216-219: Rephrase the sentences; it isn't easy to understand.

Line 232-233: the sentence is not finished.

Check the references, they are not uniform, and the names of the journals are written with abbreviations and full names. The results are presented using only descriptive statistics. It is required to consider the relationship between treatment and the following researched properties: plant growth, photosynthetic efficiency, peroxide level, antioxidant chemicals, and enzymes, in order to analyse and assess the significance of treatment with Si and Se to reduce Cr toxicity.

You should add PCA or regression analysis to your results.

Best regards!

The study demonstrates how chromium (Cr) toxicity in cabbage can be reduced by silicon (Si) and selenium (Se).

First off, there is some misunderstanding among cabbage producers. Many of us speculate that cabbage may have included Cr based on reports or research. In order to avoid worrying growers and farmers alike, the author must first disclose this issue. Why is cabbage chosen as a crop?

The authors respond accordingly but I have detected similarity of the manuscript about 35%. Need to reduce.
