Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors presented a novel and interesting topic about the consumer experience. A great scientific idea should be implemented appropriately. Thus some recommendations for improvement could be applied:

a) Introduction could be concentrated more on the topic directly from the first sentence. It seems that 31-36 lines of paper are redundant.

b) It is unclear why a systematic literature review is needed on the analyzed topic. More robust validation could be applied.

c) Methodology of PRIZMA is schematized. It is a great way to show the application of the used research method. I suggest explaining and validating information written in the 1st  and the 2nd figures.

d) Analyzed information in chapter 3.1. does not look related to the analyzed topic. Clarification and connection to the topic object should be explained.

e) It is unclear why Table 1 shows analyses of 5 articles while in PRIZMA figure mentioned 28 articles. I believe that the data analysis method should be explained too.

f) Conclusions are not a summary of the article. Conclusions should be the original and specifically revealed results of the analysis in the article.

I honestly think that implementing recommendations could bring greater scientific and practical value.

Response:

We greatly appreciate your comments. We have extensively revised and edited the Materials and Methods as follows:

  1. Materials and Methods

2.1. Searching strategy

Although this literature review was a narrative review, we have searched PubMed, Medline, Scopus, ResearchGate and GoogleScholar according to the PRISMA flow diagram guidelines, with the following search word chains: COVID-19; sustainable and safe; consumer experience; cosmetics; NFT; raffle; and FUN. Figure 1 illustrates the flowchart relating to the process of finding and selecting the studies included in this literature review.

2.2. Eligibility criteria

This literature review had to meet the eligibility criteria of this literature review as follows. With respect to COVID-19, sustainable consumer experience, safe consumer experience, cosmetics, NFT, raffle, and FUN studies on the following were considered eligible for inclusion: A sustainable and safe spatial experience for beauty and cosmetics customer experiences in metaverse, utilizing NFT in metaverse, FUN and raffle for the younger generation and new customer experiences will be addressed.

2.3. Screening and data extraction

As inclusion criteria, we have considered various article types such as original research article, review article, internet article, brief report, and series. We have not applied restrictions for date of publication or language. Full-text not being accessible, full-text not containing raw data, inappropriate topics, university thesis and dissertation, and being not pertinent to the main focus of the review was considered as exclusion criteria.

2.4. Study selection and data extraction

This review is a critical literature review. In this study, a descriptive review approach was used. A total of 453 references were selected using representative journal search sites such as PubMed, GoogleScholar, Scopus, RISS, and ResearchGate using PRISMA flow diagram. Accordingly, a total of 28 papers were selected in the final stage from 2013 to 2022. The PRISMA is shown as a Figure 1. Additionally, consumers who prefer fun and Cosmetic NFT consumer experience through raffle are summarized in Tables 1 and 2 described. The research model diagram was organized into Figure 2.

  1. d) Analyzed information in chapter 3.1. does not look related to the analyzed topic. Clarification and connection to the topic object should be explained.

This narrative review article focuses on sustainable and safe experiences for beauty and cosmetics consumer experiences in the post-COVID-19 metaverse, NFTs in the metaverse, FUN for the MZ generation, and new consumer experiences. NFT, which is leading novel cultural and social phenomena and utilizes fun raffles in the sustainable and safe metaverse of the MZ generation that embodies the digital world, will be opening a new era in the beauty market. Accordingly, by confirming the change, it is expected to be used as an important marketing material and strategy in the global metaverse cosmetological market for sustainable and safe space and consumer experience.

Reviewer 2 Report

The text of the paper raises an important number of problems. First, there is no good correspondence between the title of the article and the parts of the research model, which is not explained in consonance with the chosen title. Second, significant portions of the text are devoted to the description of the COVID 19 pandemic, which is repeated both in the introduction and in 3.1., discussions and conclusions. At point 3.4. is a description of the raffle method, not an actual review of the literature on the subject. We believe that a number of only 28 scientific articles retained for analysis is totally insufficient to be able to carry out a quality literature review.

Although I am not a native English speaker, there are still numerous errors of expression in the text. For example, between lines 118-122 the word imitated is repeated 4 times, and the phrase makes no sense. There are similar examples in other parts of the work.

We greatly appreciate your comments. We totally agree your invaluable comments. We have extensively revised and edited the Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, and Conclusions. As you commented, we have revised our title as follows:

- Title: Sustainable and safe consumer experience NFT and raffle in the cosmetic market after COVID-19

- Abstract: Due to the endless epidemic, the world has moved to the metaverse world. In order toTo keep pace with the changes in the cosmetic market, research on customer experience using non-fungible token (NFT) was conducted. This review study is an empirical analysis that focuses on introducing the safety of the metaverse world into cosmetics in the absence of customer experience in the cosmetic market due to the rapid transition to a non-face-to-face society in coronavirus disease-19 pandemic. This review through consumer experience is a critical literature review. In this study, a technical review approach was used. Using the PRISMA flow chart, a total of 453 references were selected using representative journal search sites such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, RISS, and ResearchGate. Accordingly, a total of 28 papers were selected in the final stage from 2013 to 2022. This literature review focuses on the NFT cosmetics market, which expands the consumer expe-rience into a fun experience by focusing on the sustainable safety of new consumer changes in the metaverse beauty market. This is an empirical analysis focused on the cosmetic consumer experience for the new launch of cosmetic brands using NFT in the future beauty and cosmetology market.

- Introduction: In Republic of Korea, interest in millennials and generation Z is increasing. These MZ generations are leading a new cultural and social phenomenon. Millennials (born 1981-96) and Gen Z (born 1997-2010) share a similar upbringing. Because of the com-monality of the 'Digital Generation', they are collectively referred to as the MZ genera-tion. The metaverse they lead is the English word 'meta', which means 'virtual' and 'transcendence', and the universe. Also called 3D virtual world. In addition, NFT is an essential content of the metaverse. NFTs are non-tradeable or replicable block-chain-based tokens that combine scarcity and originality. This new era is un-folding in the beauty market as well. [2-6]

- Conclusions: This narrative review article focuses on sustainable and safe experiences for beauty and cosmetics consumer experiences in the post-COVID-19 metaverse, NFTs in the metaverse, FUN for the MZ generation, and new consumer experiences.

Response:

We greatly appreciate your comments. We have extensively revised and edited the Abstract SECTION. Also, the manuscript is entirely revised by English Native Expert. Especially, the lines 118-122 were revised as follow:

Brands that imitate luxury goods were perceived negatively overall. Also, it is more important in the case of public products shown to others. The fact that the imitation of a luxury brand negatively changes both the attitude of the luxury brand, and the imitation brand can be confirmed because of making it known that it is a poisonous choice for both companies that imitate public products and companies imitated.

Brands with imitate luxury goods are generally perceived negatively. This is even more important for products that are open to others. The fact that such imitation has a negative impact on the attitudes of luxury brands and all can be found, as it informs that public products are toxic choices for both imitators and imitators.

Reviewer 3 Report

This topic is quite interesting and has gained more importance with the pandemic. It adds value to academia and extends literature. The authors use many acronyms that are not always first characterized, for example the use of the acronym MZ generation. Although I consider the article very interesting in its topic, it seems to me that the Prisma methodology is presented in a vague way.

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors have improved their paper. I would suggest some small corrections:

a) Include into analyses references that were used to define the need and relevance of a systematic literature review. The reference list included just analyzed articles with the PRISMA method.

b) scientific value for the systematic literature review as well as the practical value could be provided.

c) Limitations of the research should be provided.

Reviewer 2 Report

The authors changed the article type from systematic literature review to narrative review, which changes our approach to the review. We appreciate the authors' decision to do a professional proof reading to correct language errors. The article meets the minimum requirements for a narrative review.
