Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article is well written. The English language used is appropriate. The sections give sufficient information.
The results are clearly presented.
However, there are a few points that need some looking into:

I feel the general introduction, even though it is very well written, is a bit too long (almost half of the article, without tables and references), since, in the title, it is said that this is a review pertaining to therapy. We can assume that those who chose to read this article know about, e.g,  the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia.

A space is missing in line 31: "Summary.S"
Line 38: Why are there green highlights?
Lines 102-10: "This suggests that environmental triggers in those with a genetic predisposition to schizophrenia occur sometime between conception and birth in the form of epigenetic changes that alter gene expression (14)" suggest that epigenetics are the sole reason for the genetic predisposition. This should be corrected to say that it may be one of the reasons, with mutations in genes being the main reason. If newer research that I am not aware of suggests otherwise, expand on this.

Please write full numbers, and not e.g. (P < .001)

Tables: Could you widen them to occupy the whole page? I believe that way they would be easier to read.

The PlagScan software detected a 20.5% similarity rate, which is considered high. After an in-depth analysis, I don't think this is a problem, since the authors cited the authors, but I would suggest they try to paraphrase better in the future.

Author note: trimmed the general introduction so it doesn't have details on the diagnosis.

A space is missing in line 31: "Summary.S"

   Author note: placed the space

Line 38: Why are there green highlights?

Author note: Not sure why they were there. They weren't on the original submission. These have been removed.

tried to resize the tables as best as we could.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript entitled: “Aripiprazole lauroxil, a novel injectable long-acting antipsychotic treatment for adults with schizophrenia: A comprehensive review” by Maini et al. (Manuscript ID: neurolit 1241609) is a literature overview of the background, evidence, and indications for the use of Aripiprazole lauroxil, an FDA approved atypical antipsychotic, in the treatment of schizophrenia.

This is an interesting and well written MS and I have no question for the authors.
