2.5. Data Analysis
- (1)
- Participants’ sociodemographic characteristics were presented as real numbers and percentages for the total population and each age group using the SAS SURVEYFREQ procedure. The differences in sociodemographic characteristics across age groups were analyzed using the Rao-Scott -test.
- (2)
- Participants’ cognitive function (MMSE) were presented as mean and standard deviation by age group and category of each variable using the SAS SURVEYMEANS procedure. Differences in cognitive function among the levels of each categorical variable were analyzed with t-test or F-test using the SAS SURVEYREG procedure.
- (3)
- The predictors of cognitive function by age group were identified with multiple linear regression analysis using the SAS SURVEYREG procedure.
