Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Great work. The content is relevant to the food industry.

Author Response

Thank you very much for the careful reading of the manuscript and for the positive evaluation of our work. We hope that your opinion will be helpful in acceptation of the paper for publication in International Journal of Molecular Sciences.

Reviewer 2 Report

In the paper titled "Whole-genome sequencing-based characterization of
Listeria monocytogenes from fish and fish production environments in Poland"
authors by the WGS analysis characterized L. monocytogenes isolates from
fish and fish processing environment obtained from 16 fish manufacturers
located in Poland. The article is very well written and provides information
important for the epidemiological investigations connected to this foodborne pathogen.

My only objection that has to be corrected prior to publication is that text font used in figures is to small and therefore difficult to read.

Author Response

Thank you very much for the careful reading of the manuscript and for the positive evaluation of our work. According to your comments, we have modified Figures 2 and 3 as follows: (1) The size of the figures between the nodes has been increased; (2) The color of these figures has been changed to more dark; (3) The branch lines have been made thinner; (4) Some colors corresponding to the country origins have been changed to brightens. Furthermore, in Figure 1, The CT fonts have been enlarged. Modified Figs. 1-3 pasted in word format have been attached.

We hope now that the revised version of the manuscript, in terms of the modified Figures, is acceptable for you and will be suitable for publication in International Journal of Molecular Sciences.
