Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript entitled “Physiology-based pharmacokinetic study on 18β-glycyrrhetic acid mono-glucuronide (GAMG) prior to glycyrrhizin in rats” concerned with the critically important problem of pharmacokinetics of GAMG, its the bioavailability, tissue distribution and disposition of GAMG in vivo. The manuscript can be published in Molecules after minor revision.

I recommend the authors to expand the Introduction section

Figure 2 caption is too simplized. The authors should add more description about M, H and L values

The discussion section should be expanded by comparing the authors' results with other data

Reviewer 2 Report

Physiology-based pharmacokinetic study on 18β-glycyrrhetic 2 acid mono-glucuronide (GAMG) prior to glycyrrhizin in rats looks well written and sounds satisfactory and I would like to recommend to accept it as is for the publication in Molecules.
