Abstract
A series of monoazo disperse dyes derived from arylazothienopyridazines were synthesized. Fastness properties of dyed polyester samples were measured. Most of the dyed fabrics tested displayed excellent washing and perspiration fastness and moderate light fastness. Abstract
Thienopyridine 1 and thienopyridazine 13 have been readily reacted with electron-poor olefins to give isoquinolines and phthalazines, respectively. Some of the obtained compounds were tested for their antimicrobial activity. Full article
