The current media digitization and artistic strength are more powerful than the previous application. Using its advanced information display methods and technologies, this paper proposed a digital museum built by integrating digital media art with AR technology, which was helpful to analyze and solve the objective problems of current museums’ ecological imbalance and single-system function. Based on the principles and laws of augmented reality technology, the museum guide system is optimized. In the system evaluation experiment, firstly, the cultural relics of six kinds of materials are used as the target image to extract and identify the features of the image. In experiments, the recognition performance of three feature algorithms, Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints (BRISK), organizational retaliatory behavior (ORB), and Accelerated-KAZE (AKAZE), is compared. Among them, the ORB algorithm is superior to other algorithms in feature richness and recognition speed but is inferior to the other two algorithms in recognition accuracy. Therefore, this paper optimized the ORB algorithm based on the characteristics of the ORB algorithm. The ORB algorithm must calculate the orientation of the feature points before constructing the feature descriptor. After optimizing the parameters, the improved ORB algorithm not only has advantages in feature richness and recognition time but also improves the recognition accuracy up to 98.3%, which is 16% higher than the traditional ORB algorithm. Therefore, the application prospects of AR technology in digital media design are very important. Full article

This study investigates the ongoing transformation in galleries, auctions, and museums in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, and Singapore, where new models for art transactions and exhibiting practices lead to unprecedented evolution in the global art market. While the pandemic hit the art market unprecedentedly, art organizations in Asia are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as the digitalization of online auctions and virtual art-viewing technology has made up for the cancellation of art events. We are also seeing increased cross-regional and cross-national collaborations in marketing and exhibiting activities. Whether or not it is part of their active strategy, to keep up with the rapid market changes, galleries and auctions must now devote more resources to their digital platforms. Affluent art collectors in this region see art consumption not only as a socially conditioned, symbolic mechanism manifesting wealth and cultural capital but also as an attractive investment vehicle with an increased appetite for the financialization of artworks. What are the benefits and complications of the digitalization of online art transactions and art viewing? How do multi-sited auctions and exhibitions indicate the increased demand for collaboration between commercial art organizations and art institutions? Based on fieldwork and semi-structured interviews with actors in the art markets and secondary Chinese resources, this research generates insights into organizational behaviors in Asia’s art scene and how the art market players actively adapt and persevere via taking on new, entrepreneurial models of operation and speeding up trans-regional and trans-national connectivity with their Western counterparts. With the development of high-speed wireless LAN, the use of multimedia-type digital contents is increasing significantly even in the smart home environment. Therefore, it is very important to efficiently process and manage the use of digital content in the form of multimedia. In order to effectively process multimedia digital contents in the wireless LAN environment of a smart home, a server higher than the PC level is required. There is also a need for a support system that can exchange multimedia digital contents between clients of home appliances. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a Smart Home Digital Contents Management and Operation System (SDCMOS) that effectively processes and supports multimedia digital contents. This system is designed to effectively process real-time multimedia processing in home service in a wireless LAN environment. In addition, it was made possible to efficiently search multimedia information directly from the home server. SDCMOS is designed to be usable in fields such as biomedical image search, history museums, art exhibition halls, tourism information, geographic information, and e-commerce. Full article

This article explores the Speed Art Museum’s exhibit, Promise, Witness, Remembrance, as a site of meaning-making in the wake of the state-sponsored killing of Breonna Taylor. The article focuses on how the curators engaged the felt sense of vulnerability to premature death among Black viewers identified with Taylor in ways that held in tension a crisis of faith in, and an insistence upon, Black futurity.
