For many years, the MOBI seminar has been known for its unique approach to various themes, its exchange of expertise, its fruitful networking and its compelling presentations and people. This year will be no exception. We look forward to welcoming you to our Brussels campus on the 31st of March.

As the current electric vehicle (EV) evolution and electrification strategy pushes towards increasingly green and sustainable transport, key technological barriers and challenges are being presented. What is more, these frequently change from the perspective of the relevant stakeholders. A decade ago, data collected via surveys pointed out that the three main barriers posed to the market introduction of electric vehicles (EV) were purchase price, driving range and the availability of charging infrastructure. Therefore, which developments have made it possible to reach such impressive improvements in the meantime? Was this due to mass market production, i.e., upscaling the production capacity, due to technological improvements, or due to choices made in terms of materials and designs? As such, what is needed to make further improvements to their driving range, affordability or grid integration?
