Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Quantum Beam Science


Quantum Beam Science (ISSN: 2412-382X) is an international, open access journal that publishes reviews and original research focusing on the application of quantum beams for the study and characterization of materials in their broadest sense, as well as the advancement of quantum beam sources, instrumentation, and facilities: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/qubs.

We are currently seeking experts to join our Editorial Board and help guide the journal’s development.

Membership in the Editorial Board is available for renewal after the initial two-year term.

Application eligibility:

  • A completed doctorate/PhD degree;
  • A strong publication record with impactful work in quantum beam sources, techniques, or applications;
  • Current academic position as a senior lecturer, associate professor, or professor;
  • Enthusiasm for journal work and the ability to assume Editorial Board responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-screening and making decisions on new submissions within your research expertise;
  • Contributing to the journal by submitting your own work or serving as a Guest Editor for a Special Issue;
  • Providing input or feedback on the journal’s policies;
  • Promoting the journal among peers and at academic events;
  • Attending Board meetings to support journal development.
