Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Software security is gaining more and more attention from society. Security is one of the fundamental requirements for software to protect the property and privacy of users. Either software defects or security vulnerabilities in the software systems bring serious security threats. Meanwhile, with the growing of intelligence and networking techniques, software security is bound to become more and more important and challenging.
Software security analysis still requires much manual effort, and current software security research heavily relies on the traditional static and dynamic code analysis, which does not adequately address the new features of current software systems and the security requirements of future application scenarios. Therefore, current software security research needs to consider new requirements and scenarios for future application, and to design and implement more intelligent and automated software security analysis approaches and tools.
This Special Issue welcomes novel theoretical contributions, practical research, and review articles that aim to address the software security issues. Potential topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- software security
- application security and privacy
- cyber physical system security
- internet of things system security
- security and privacy analysis tools
- blockchain and distributed system security
- autonomous driving system security
- program analysis
