About Neuroimaging
Aims
Neuroimaging (ISSN 3042-8807) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to research regarding multimodal structural, functional, and metabolic imaging of the nervous system. This journal focuses on publishing research papers (original articles), reviews, technical reports, and short communications on topics related to the field of neuroimaging; other article types will also be considered. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. There are, therefore, no restrictions on the maximum length of papers. Electronic files containing the extended details of computational, statistical, or experimental procedures, if too lengthy for inclusion in the body of the manuscript, can be submitted as supplementary material.
Scope
Neuroimaging aims to provide a forum for scientists to exchange perspectives on the progress and future trends in neuroimaging, while promoting technological innovation and accelerating clinical transformation and applications. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Development of new imaging technologies and tools;
- Real-time dynamic imaging technology;
- Innovation of neuroimaging technology;
- Multimodal neuroimaging integration and analysis;
- Dynamic modeling of brain networks;
- Neuroimaging big data and cloud computing;
- Machine learning and artificial intelligence in neuroimaging;
- Quantitative and reproducible neuroimaging methods;
- Open science and data sharing in neuroimaging research;
- Imaging genetics and multi-omics integration;
- Neuroimaging biomarkers;
- Cognitive and behavioral neuroimaging;
- Translational and preclinical neuroimaging;
- Brain connectivity and network mapping;
- Comprehensive application of neuroscience and computer science;
- Neurodata privacy and data security;
- Combination of neuroimaging ethics and technology;
- Ethical and societal implications of advanced neuroimaging.
MDPI Publication Ethics Statement
MDPI is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add
high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate
authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in
such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.
