In order to further develop the journal Nanoenergy Advances (ISSN: 2673-706X), promote academic exchange among young scientists, and support the journal’s Editorial Board with additional talent, the first Early Career Editorial Board of Nanoenergy Advances (2025–2026) is being established, with outstanding young scholars invited to join!

Recruitment:
A total of 20 Early Career Editorial Board Members will be recruited.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have completed their doctorate/Ph.D. in the past 15 years (considering exceptions for career interruptions, including medical and family leave);
• Researchers with a strong and impactful portfolio of publications in their field of research;
• Researchers that are active and engaged in their community (e.g., experienced at presenting at academic conferences or involved in professional organizations);
• Scholars who preside over national-level scientific research projects and have overseas experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Publicizing and promoting the journal at academic conferences and among their peers;
• Selecting high-quality articles and preparing media content for their promotion;
• Reviewing at least four manuscripts per year;
• Providing input on any new initiatives for journal development;
• Inviting submissions from world-leading scientists in their respective research fields through both local and global networks;
• Supporting the development of the journal through various means, such as providing suggestions, promoting the journal via academic networks, at academic conferences, and through new media channels, etc.;

• The achievements of Early Career Editorial Board Members will be publicized on the journal’s various social media platforms to enhance academic visibility;
• Opportunities to be promoted to a full Editorial Board Member will be provided contingent upon contributions;
• The journal will regularly acknowledge those who have participated in the peer review process on the website;
• Opportunities to participate in or host annual meetings and online seminars organized by the journal’s Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board Members.

Initial screening of application materials → selection by the journal’s Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Members → email notification → issuing a certificate of appointment.
