Dear Colleagues,

As the Editor-in-Chief of Fire, I am pleased to announce the winner of the Fire 2022 Travel Award.

The award has been granted to Ms. Ana Novo, a PhD student in the CINTECX, Universidade de Vigo, GeoTECH group, Spain.

With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting such a diverse and fascinating range of research topics.
