Blockchain Security
A section of Cryptography (ISSN 2410-387X).
Section Information
Blockchain is a widely adopted emerging technology. Its secure design for supporting a distributed computing system with high fault tolerance is attracting wide attention all over the world. On one hand, blockchain will play an important role for secure decentralization in such emerging fields as Digital Currency and Internet of Things. On the other hand, its advance should be further evolved in terms of scalability, security, privacy, efficiency, flexibility, availability, real decentralization and high dependability.
We invite authors to submit research papers on topics related to cryptographic primitives of blockchain; theories of blockchain and distributed ledger technology; distributed consensus and fault tolerance mechanisms; decentralization, scalability, and security trade-off; performance analysis and optimization; security, privacy and trust of blockchain; attacks and forensics on blockchain; distributed database technologies for blockchain; and secure protocols and algorithms based on blockchain.
