We are recruiting Editorial Board members for Biomass (ISSN: 2673-8783). If you are active in the field and are passionate about promoting the publication of cutting-edge research, please contact the Biomass Editorial Office ([email protected]) to apply. 

Biomass is an international open access journal on biomass conversion and biorefinery. Biomass publishes review articles (reviews), original research papers (articles), and short communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, there is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.

Biomass considers submissions focusing on (but not limited to):

• Biomass feedstocks;
• Biomass conversion;
• Biomass valorization;
• Conversion of biomass-derived compounds;
• Biomass into biofuels and renewable chemicals in biorefineries;
• Bio-based materials for biorefineries;
• Renewable energy technologies of biomass.

As an Editorial Board Member, you will be responsible for:

• Prescreening submissions and making decisions on whether they should be accepted for processing;
• Suggesting interesting topics in your research field;
• Editing a Special Issue on a topic related to your research;
• Publishing/inviting/recommending one paper free of charge per year;
• Promoting Biomass and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences.
