23 March 2022
Meet Us at the International Symposium on Frontiers in Molecular Sciences—Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Druggability of Proteins (ISFMS 2022), 6–9 September 2022, Florence, Italy

It is an honor for us to share the latest news about the 4th ISFMS: Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Druggability of Proteins. This conference will take place in the biomedical campus of the University of Florence, Florence, Italy, from 6 to 9 September 2022. The location is very close to the main city hospital and can be easily accessed from the local airport, train station or city center.

The conference is chaired by Professor Claudiu T. Supuran, Professor Paola Gratteri, and Professor Silvia Selleri from the University of Florence, Italy, and Dr. Clemente Capasso from the Italian National Research Council. This conference will bring together leading molecular biologists from around the world to share their recent findings on a range of topics related to the biochemistry, molecular biology, and druggability of proteins:

  • Molecular Biology of Proteins;
  • Structure and Function of Proteins;
  • Proteins as Drug Targets.

Confirmed renowned experts dedicated to such research fields will also join our conference:

  • Prof. Dr. Shoukat Dedhar (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada);
  • Prof. Dr. Binghe Wang (Department of Chemistry, and Center for Diagnostics and Therapeutic, Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA, USA);
  • Prof. Dr. Marianna A. Patrauchan (Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA);
  • Prof. Dr. William Donald (School of Chemistry, University of New South Wales (UNSW) Australia, Sydney, Australia);
  • Prof. Dr. Jean-Yves WINUM (IBMM - Pôle Chimie Balard Recherche, University of Montpellier, Montpellier, France);
  • Prof. Dr. Ionel Mangalagiu (Faculty of Chemistry, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Iasi, Romania);
  • Prof. Dr. Vladimir N. Uversky (Department of Molecular Medicine, Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, Tampa, USA);
  • Prof. Dr. Giuseppina De Simone (Biostructure and Bioimaging Institute-CNR, Naples, Italy);
  • Prof. Dr. Daniel P. Flaherty (Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Purdue University, USA);
  • Dr. Lukasz Jaremko (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

Important Dates:

  • Abstract submission: 3 May 2022;
  • Acceptance notification: 1 June 2022;
  • Early bird registration: 10 June 2022;
