Prof. Dr. Chimay Anumba, Editor-in-Chief of Buildings, inducted into Royal Academy of Engineering

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Chimay Anumba (Pennsylvania State University), Editor-in-Chief of our journal Buildings, was inducted into the Royal Academy of Engineering, the United Kingdom’s National Academy of Engineering on 5 November 2012 in London, UK.
Professor Anumba had been elected in recognition of his work in ‘developing advanced informatics systems to solve knotty problems in design and construction’ and for his ‘prominent leadership role in transforming industry-based research’ in the construction industry. Election to Fellowship of The Royal Academy is by invitation only and is one of the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer.
