Sensors Best PhD Thesis Award—Winner Announced

Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220) is delighted to announce the winner of the Sensors Best PhD Thesis Award, which honors outstanding doctoral research in the field of sensors. This award recognizes early career researchers whose PhD work demonstrates exceptional scientific quality, innovation, and potential impact.
This year’s award has been granted to the following paper:
“Battery-free, Wireless, Optoelectronic Platform for Multimodal Monitoring of Chronic Wounds and Metabolic Diseases”
by Dr. Seokjoo Cho (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology)
As the awardee, Dr. Seokjoo Cho will receive CHF 1000, an electronic certificate, and a voucher to waive the Article Processing Charge (APC) for one submission to the journal (subject to peer review)—this voucher will be valid for one year.
With an impressive number of high-quality submissions, the selection process was highly competitive. The Sensors Editorial Office and Award Evaluation Committee would like to thank all applicants for their excellent contributions, which covered a wide variety of research topics.
