The Convegno delle Stelline (The Star Convention) is Italy's premier conference for the library and information sector, organized by the Associazione Biblioteche oggi.   • Featured MDPI Workshop: Marco Pedretti, Section Managing Editor at MDPI, will present a dedicated workshop titled "AI and Integrity in Academic Research – An Editorial Perspective" on Tuesday, May 26th (2:50 pm – 3:10 pm, Sala Santarsiero).
  • AI Safeguards and Ethics: The session will offer practical examples of how MDPI regulates the use of AI and implements robust controls to ensure research integrity and editorial quality.
  • Smart Library Innovation: In-depth sessions will cover Data Intelligence, exploring how data can guide strategic design choices for modern libraries to become more participatory and inclusive.
  • Collaboration and Sustainability: Strategic discussions on ensuring libraries remain accessible and inclusive spaces while exploring new models for economic cooperation across the knowledge sector.
