Recruiting Editorial Board Members for COVID


COVID (ISSN: 2673-8112) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on the study of coronaviruses, coronavirus-related diseases and global impact, published monthly online by MDPI. We are currently seeking experts to join our Editorial Board and help guide the journal’s development.

Editorial Board Members are responsible for upholding the academic and scientific quality of MDPI publications. The initial term lasts for 2 years and entails:

  • Pre-screening and making decisions on new submissions related to your research interests;
  • Providing input or feedback regarding journal policies;
  • Setting up one Special Issue during your term on a topic related to your research interests (or supervising Special Issues related to your research field);
  • Helping to promote the journal among your peers or at conferences;
  • Attending Board meetings to suggest journal development strategies;
  • Reviewing manuscripts.

Eligibility criteria of applicants:

  • A completed doctorate/PhD and/or MD degree;
  • A strong publication record with impactful work in coronaviruses research;
  • Current academic position as a senior lecturer, associate professor, or professor.
