This year marks the 10th anniversary of Geriatrics (ISSN: 2308-3417), an international, peer-reviewed, scientific open access journal on geriatric medicine published bimonthly online by MDPI. It covers the areas of the health and healthcare of elderly people including issues regarding healthcare systems and policies.
With an Impact Factor of 2.1 and a CiteScore of 3.4, Geriatrics is indexed in leading databases, including Scopus, ESCI (Web of Science), PubMed, PMC, and other databases.
Since the establishment of Geriatrics in 2016, the journal has published over 1073 papers, including more than 292 that have been cited at least 10 times. During the past 10 years, Geriatrics has significantly contributed to scientific advancements in the field of geriatric medicine.
