The Société Internationale d’Urologie Journal (SIUJ, ISSN 2563-6499) is an international, open-access journal, published online every two months. It aims to provide clinicians and researchers worldwide with original and peer-reviewed information in all areas of urology. SIUJ encourages submissions of Original Research articles, Systematic Reviews, Meta-Analyses, Commentary, Interesting Images, Brief Communication, Comment, and Reply. Other article types may be considered, but SIUJ does not publish case reports.

SIUJ also accepts article types unique to the journal, including Urology around the World and Giants in Urology.

• Urology Around the World articles address topical issues in one country or region that will be of broader interest. The objective is to highlight particular features of practice and show how very different the practice of urology is in different locations and situations: what is normal and expected in one place might seem extraordinary and innovative to a colleague in different circumstances. Although differences in resources usually come to mind, we encourage authors to consider other disparities that might be of interest. Authors are encouraged to include with the submission one or two photographs that offer context or that illustrate what is described.
• Giants in Urology papers provide an opportunity for contributors to showcase colleagues (whether still in practice, retired, or now deceased) who have contributed extensively to the field. The articles should highlight urologic accomplishments but should also give some insight into the character and personality of the urologist. This is a free-format contribution. Authors are strongly encouraged to submit an image of the subject (not necessarily in a work context).
