We are pleased to announce that King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand, has joined MDPI’s Institutional Open Access Program (IOAP).
Following the success of our previously established partnerships in Thailand, this new collaboration with KMUTNB further strengthens MDPI’s commitment to supporting open access and academic publishing in the region.
Under this agreement, researchers affiliated with KMUTNB are entitled to a 10% discount on article processing charges (APCs) for submissions to all MDPI journals. Furthermore, the university will benefit from access to MDPI’s submission system (SuSy), where they can find full article metadata and pricing information, providing easy identification and additional transparency. We hope that researchers at KMUTNB will find this program valuable, as it is designed to support greater visibility and accessibility of their scholarly publications.
The agreement was signed following discussions between the MDPI Bangkok Office, MDPI’s CEO Stefan Tochev, and representatives from KMUTNB, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Malinee Sriariyanun, Assistant to the President of KMUTNB for Special Affairs and International Relations, along with her team. The collaboration was further supported by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phayung Meesad, Director of the Central Library, as well as the university and library management team. This partnership also paves the way for future joint initiatives in academic events, journal publishing, conferences, media collaboration, and recruitment.
We are pleased to offer the benefits of our IOAP agreement to further institutions seeking a streamlined and efficient publishing process.
