Recruiting Early Career Editorial Board Members for Physchem

In order to further enhance the international influence of the journal Physchem (ISSN: 2673-7167), promote the academic exchange of young scientists, and support the Editorial Board with additional talent, the first Early Career Editorial Board of Physchem (2025–2026) is being set up, and outstanding young scholars are invited to join!

Recruitment:
A total of 20 Early Career Editorial Board Members are planned to be recruited.

Application Eligibility:

  • Completed their doctorate/Ph.D. degree in the past 10 years;
  • Significant research achievements in the fields of physical chemistry and chemical physics, such as theoretical and computational chemistry, photophysics, photochemistry, kinetics and thermodynamics, molecular dynamics, reaction dynamics, solid-state chemistry and physics, experimental and computational spectroscopy, mathematical physics and chemistry, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, biophysical chemistry, nanoscience, surface science, catalysis, application of lasers to physical chemistry, machine learning in energy technologies;
  • Willingness to dedicate their time to the development of the journal with passion and enthusiasm.

Benefits of an Early Career Editorial Board Member:

  • A certificate of appointment as an Early Career Editorial Board Member will be provided. The term of Early Career Editorial Board membership is two years, and it can then be renewed;
  • The achievements of Early Career Editorial Board Members are publicized on journal media platforms to improve academic visibility;
  • An opportunity to be promoted to Editorial Board Member based on contributions;
  • The journal regularly acknowledges those who participate in the peer-review process on the journal website;
  • Opportunities to participate in or host annual meetings and online seminars organized by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board Members.

Responsibilities of an Early Career Editorial Board Member:

  • Publicizing and promoting the journal at academic conferences and among peers;
  • Selecting high-quality articles and preparing bilingual media content for promotion;
  • Reviewing at least four manuscripts per year;
  • Providing input on any new initiatives of journal development;
  • Inviting submissions from world-leading local and overseas scientists in respective research fields.

Selection Process:
The selection process: initial screening of application materials → selection by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Members → email notification → issuing a certificate of appointment.
