The Romanian Journal of Preventive Medicine (RJPM) was launched in 2022 as the official publication of the Romanian Society of Preventive Medicine (Societatea Română de Medicină Preventivă), with the aim of serving as a platform for the dissemination of research and best practices in preventive medicine.
Beginning from Volume 3, Issue 1, RJPM will be published by MDPI [1], as part of our growing portfolio of journals published on behalf of societies, associations, and faculties [2]. It will be published quarterly, exclusively in English, and will welcome submissions from authors worldwide on all aspects of preventive medicine and screening. The journal will be open access and free for both readers and authors, with article processing charges fully subsidized by the Romanian Society of Preventive Medicine [3]. The founding Editor-in-Chief (EiC), Dr. Roxana Elena Bohîlțea, will continue to lead the journal in this role.
MDPI is committed to supporting RJPM and, in collaboration with the Romanian Society of Preventive Medicine, the EiC, and the Editorial Board, we aim to provide the best service to the scientific community by publishing high-quality, open access, peer-reviewed articles.
We warmly welcome all Editorial Board members, society members, authors, and researchers working in preventive medicine to this new chapter of RJPM, and we look forward to working together to support the journal’s development and success.
