- In the introduction section please add information what kind of errors are common in the pediatric ward, what are the critical ones. Is there any strategies to prevent the errors. ANSWER: Ok, useful proposal. Information added.
- Please add the aim of the study ANSWER: Ok, added.
- Please describe the inclusion, exclusion criteria also is this correct to include nurse’s assistant into the study. Please look at the nurses competences in your country. ANSWER: Ok, added. However, the population of nursing assistants is of high percentage in Greek hospitals and it was useful for this study to describe errors by all nurses who take part in patient care.
- Please describe in details the tools, also add information about reliability. ANSWER: We mention within the text: ''The questionnaire underwent validation in Greek through double translation and test-retest assessment. As all participants were Greek citizens, translating the questionnaire into Greek ensured comprehension. Specifically, a demographic question queried whether Greek was the participants' mother tongue, with all affirming''.

I think it’s important to show the place of work the participants in the contexts of it impact of the frequency of the errors. ANSWER: Ok, very useful aspect. However, in this article, we would like to isolate the specific tool, which included only descriptive data about errors. In another paper which is to be submitted in this journal we include correlations with demographic and working data.

Author Response
Thank you very much for the comments.
- About the first comment regarding the wording, we changed the phrasing in order to make it sound better.
- Regarding the second comment, we re-worded the phrase.
- Regarding the third comment about ''Introduction'' and study's nessecity, we will add the following explanation: ''Emphasizing the critical need for investigating nursing errors in Greek pediatric hospitals at this moment can highlight the potential impact on patient safety and quality of care. By addressing this gap in knowledge, the study aims to contribute valuable insights to enhance healthcare practices and ultimately improve outcomes for pediatric patients in Greece''. In our country, we do not have wide field of research for this issue and we would like to add information on this topic and sensitize other greek researchers to contribute to this.
- Regarding ''Results'' comment, we would like to clarify the followings. We gave 170 questionnaires and the response rate was 61,1%. The distribution had two options. The first option included in-person distribution and the second one had to be performed during the pandemic and accomplished with online completion through link that was sent from the nursing administrations of the hospitals included in the study. Additionally, we cooperated with a statistician to help us with the results. Regarding the nursing units, we have written another paper which includes all the demographic, working and educational data associated to errors and it wouldn' t be correct to present them here too. Finally, as for the results in narrative and table form, you are right. We will present only the key demographic data within the tables.
If there is something else needed to be clarified, please feel free to inform me. We have taken all your comments into consideration to modify the manuscript.
Sincerely,
Despoina Pappa
