Human activity generates waste, which is discarded after its use and has an unavoidable impact on the environment and on humans. Therefore, it is necessary to address the challenge of minimizing the harmful effects of waste on the environment and on humans to maintain healthy and sustainable environments.
Waste (ISSN 2813-0391) [1] is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed open-access journal that focuses on research related to waste management, waste-treatment technologies, policy, and economics. Additionally, Waste supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which are the blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all [2].
Waste is dedicated to publishing high-quality original reviews, perspectives, research articles, and short communications. Waste provides a publishing platform for studies and discusses new methods and solutions for sustainable waste management to achieve the goal of a circular economy. Additionally, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all members of Editorial Board of this promising new journal.
As with all the other MDPI journals, we strive to provide excellent services as well as a fast and rigorous peer-review process. We hope that you will enjoy publishing with us.
