Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The article presented is a great contribution to the professional development of the university professor, since it represents an advance in the current situation of this in university institutions. The study involves a great development of data collection instruments, so it would be necessary to provide a little more detail about the teaching staff participating in the focus groups, and with regard to the quantitative instrument, indicate how its validation was carried out.

It would also be interesting to describe the study sample a little more.

In the theoretical section it would be good to indicate what the acronyms mean: UGR, ENQUA and EHEA, on page 2.

Check the typography of the graphics that is different from that of the text.

Review line 192 on page 5 since the word descriptive is repeated.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The reviewed article provides a complete description and contextualization of the problem discussed, the transformation of higher education in Ibero-America. It incorporates a very good review of the existing literature on the subject, answering the research questions based on a mixed methodology (Quantitative/qualitative), carrying out the study with a sample of 2312 subjects belonging to institutions from different Ibero-American countries and Spain.

The study adequately details the process of data collection and analysis, completely related to the research questions formulated.

Finally, the conclusions presented are perfectly supported by both the results obtained and the literature review carried out.

For all that has been said, I believe that the article presented gathers evidence of interest for the educational community.

The article under evaluation revolves around the transformations of Higher Education as they affect the professionalization of teachers in Spain and Latin America. The topic presented is of great interest to the educational community, especially in the contexts of Higher Education in Spain and Latin America. Maxime if we take into account the changes that are taking place. Among the original and relevant elements for the educational field, what stands out is how the professionalization of university teachers is conceptualized and evaluated in a context of rapid social and technological changes. Among the highlights include: The presentation of a multidimensional evaluation of the teaching profession, the focus on innovative technologies and methodologies, as a way to adapt teaching to the demands of the 21st century and finally the proposal of future scenarios, specifically pointing out four possible future scenarios for teacher professionalization. To enrich the methodology of the study on teaching professionalization in Higher Education, it would be beneficial to expand the sample to more universities in Latin America, ensuring diversity in resources and pedagogical approaches. Implement stricter control of confounding variables such as age and type of institution, and consider a longitudinal design, to be able to see how teachers' perceptions and practices over time in response to political and technological interventions or changes in the educational field. Furthermore, it would be useful to include international comparisons to contextualize the findings in a global framework and validate the instruments used to ensure their cultural and linguistic relevance. Finally, comment that the study can be enriched by incorporating the student's perspective, offering this aspect a more complete vision of the needs and experiences in teaching professionalization.

Finally, say that the conclusions of the study presented are consistent with the arguments presented throughout the document. Reflecting the complexity of the transformation in Higher Education, highlighting the importance of policies and practices that respond effectively to changes in the educational environment.
