Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an excellent paper on an important topic. The author is knowledgeable and has organized the ideas in the paper clearly.

Before submission, I suggest that the author search and replace the many double spaces in the article and change to single. This is a minor thing but distracted from the excellent topic. I also suggest that the author ask another person to read through the paper to make minor edits for clarity in the wording. I have attached what I started to do, before I realized that this will probably be too hard for the author to read.

This paper really adds to the conversation about the importance of Professional Development.

Author Response

Before submission, I suggest that the author search and replace the many double spaces in the article and change to single.

Most of the double spaces are addressed as much as possible.

I also suggest that the author ask another person to read through the paper to make minor edits for clarity in the wording. I have attached what I started to do, before I realized that this will probably be too hard for the author to read.

We have tried to read it again, thank you. And the comments are addressed.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper titled " The Understanding of Effective Professional Development of Mathematics Teachers According to South Sudan School Context" is reviewed. A number of related recommendations are presented as follows:

·       Titles should be ordered and written carefully by the author(s). There is a section titled Discussion under the following title: Results and Discussion, but a separate section titled Discussion is written under the same title.

·       Be sure to follow APA format and the same layout for all tables.

·       Besides the contributions the authors made to the literature, it is also important to mention how she contributed to it.

·       The authors should add around 100 more words to the conclusion section of your report. Include the future scope of your research study, limitations encountered during the study, and procedures to overcome them.

·       Results should be considered separately for teachers and principals.

·       It would be more correct to use the references title instead of the reference title.

·       In addition, The authors might use an abbreviation table at the beginning or end of the text since lots of abbreviations are used in the text.
