Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Abstract

Abstract is a mixture of ideas, but one cannot see the necessary construct. The author(s) should follow the accepted format of academic writing, mentioning the scope, target, and possible outcomes. The word “mora” has two forms of plural. The authors should choose one – “moras” or “morae”, otherwise it may be confusing for an unprepared reader.

It is necessary to note that we use either “the Japanese (or any other) language, or Japanese (or any other) through the entire text.

Introduction

Some grammar errors have been detected, including singular/plural forms and verbs. Some ideas should have been included into the abstract.

“self-evaluation was evaluated” would be better “assessed”

Other notes: Is Seoil university another possible name for Seoul university?

The article deals with a very interesting topic, which is special-needs education using Evernote. Unfortunately, the article contains a lot of elements that need to be refined. The abstract is very chaotic. Nothing came of it. It is not known what the purpose of the study is, how and when the research was carried out, and what effect it produced.

Authors write that "In this study, we constructed an instructional model usingasystematic instructional design that integrated cloud computing technology and implementedit in a class based on the factors mentioned previously" this opinion should be putted in abstract too.

The study lacks research questions and hypotheses. The authors do not specify in the methodology what the research looks like, who is the respondent, why they took up the topic, and when they conducted the research.

Authors write that: "Evernote and received feedback from an instructor for Interaction between teacher and students in online learning" there is no information about who the teachers and students were.

The methodology is described very chaotically. It requires some ordering, introducing the reader to the article.

Very modest conclusions not relevant to research. The literature review is also a weakness of the article. The article requires thorough elaboration.
