Drift Potential Characteristics of a Flat Fan Nozzle: A Numerical and Experimental Study
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The paper presents the numerical and experimental works related to the drift potential characteristics of a flat fan nozzle. The numerical results were verified and compared with the experimental results. The results are interesting, however, the authors should address the following points before the manuscript can be considered for publication.
1) Reference [5] is not cited in this article. It is also quite old. Therefore, it should not be mentioned here.
2) Explain the reason why the author selects the various wind speeds 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 m/s, respectively. Are they consistent with the experimental works?
3) Please explain more details about the validation of numerical simulations and experimental results.
4) English grammar needs to be checked carefully. For instance, the lines 498 and 499, the sentence “Research manuscripts reporting….numbers” is hard to understand.
