Air Quality as a Key Factor in the Aromatisation of Stores: A Systematic Literature Review
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Typically, this manuscript has not ready for publication in a scientific journal. The typing is not well, and the content is not appealing to readers. Other specific suggestion items as follows.
Table 1:
The most concerning on the health effect of asbestos may not be skin irritation. Please cite other references.
Why is it blank for benzene?
No any potential health effects and concentrations for these seven substrates
(Microorganisms, Nitrogen dioxide, Organic substances, Ozone…) Please exactly cite references.
Lines 105-108:
Authors cited only two references for VOCs sources, that is very insufficient. Even though authors cited a few works of VOCs in the following paragraph, the numbers of references in the field of indoor exposures of VOCs are very limited in the content.
Sec. 3.2:
It is not written systematically in Sec. 3.2. Especially, the statements of aromatic substances to improve people's sense in stores should be displayed more quantitatively than the present paragraphs. Much more proper references should be cited.
Author Response
Author´s response to report 1:
The authors would like to thank editors and reviewers for their work, all comments and suggestions have been taken into consideration. The message and structure of the manuscript has been clarified and improved thanks to these suggestions.

We have added references to the total number of 7.

We have prepared this research article for publication in the Special Issue "Advances in Aromatization/Aromachology in Different Environments" of Applied Sciences. Our research was funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships grant. Other authors from the same project submitted to the Special Issue articles about aromatization of the indoor space and aromachology. Therefore, it has been agreed that our article will provide only limited information on aromatic substances in stores so that the information does not overlap.
