Nicely done.  I feel this study can greatly benefit physical educators, fitness trainers and the general population.  One thing that needs to be addressed is on page 5.  In the second paragraph you have xxx/xxx in two places that needs to be cleaned up.  Also, in the discussion I would really emphasize the negative sedentary behaviors and its negative impact.  You do mention it, yet I would hammer it home.

Review

The aim of the study was to analyze the association between positive and negative sedentary behavior and school engagement (behavioral, emotional and cognitive) in adolescents.

The references used are mostly updated and in accordance with the object of the study, which shows a contingent subject and in accordance with the Spanish social reality.

It is positive to emphasize that the study is framed in a contingent and fundamental problem in current times, considering the high rates of sedentary lifestyles and considerable increase in the use of screens.

There is an appropriate contextualization of the text, where the study variables are explained from the scientific literature, allowing a comprehensive understanding of the manuscript.

In the material and method section, the research design could be described (experimental, non-experimental, comparative, correlational, among others).

It is necessary to indicate some background regarding the validation of the instruments used (internal consistency, reliability).

Add the sampling technique, and if it is representative of the chosen population.

I congratulate the authors because the study meets the methodological rigor and quality standards. In any case, the authors are requested to revise and correct the details to improve the readers' understanding of the text.
