Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Paper is written clearly, but some more clearer point out about the application domain or how to use the results in practice is missing. Conclusion can be rewritten to simple perfect, since it is a summery was is done. References are adequate.

Reviewer 2 Report

In the formulation of the Thm.1 (l.137) it is not clear if the function "mu" is included in the definition of the game or it has to be determined by the function V(.) in a unique way (i.e. independently of the values of x*). In both cases the proof of the Thm.1 is not complete.

Reviewer 3 Report

I appreciate the consideration of a possible reviewer of this manuscript, titled “Characteristic function of defensive-equilibrium representation for TU-games with strategies”. The aim of this study is to transform the TU-game with strategies into a cooperative game by introducing a characteristic function of defensive-equilibrium representation. The research topic proposed by the authors is current and relevant. The paper is well-structured.

Please find my detailed comments below:

The introduction is presented in a clear and detailed manner.

The authors justify the good knowledge of the literature.

The models used by the authors is well grounded and the cooperative solutions and examples are clearly shown.

Conclusions cover several good points, but should include the limitation of the research and recommendations for future research. I would recommend a more explanations about the contribution the paper makes to the existing debates in the academic literature.
