There was an error in the original publication [1].
With this correction, the authors would like to update the following sentence in Section 1. Introduction, the part of the fourth paragraph:
Considering its transnational peculiarities and comparative potential for sustainable fluvial governance, the field has shown theoretical, conceptual, and methodological ‘immaturity’, and contributors have fallen short of formulating a comprehensive landscape of the Brahmaputra River in their research [9,10].
The corrected sentence appears below:
In view of its transnational attributes and research potential in the field of sustainable river governance, the region has witnessed relatively systematic research achievements in the natural sciences [9,10]. However, it is noteworthy that in the dimensions of humanities, social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies, the relevant research output remains relatively limited, and existing studies have not yet fully constructed a holistic cognitive picture of the Brahmaputra River Basin.
The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
