Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This study aims to investigate impacts of Saharan dust intrusions  on the atmospheric boundary layer height using 4 years ceilometer measurements.  The manuscript is well organized, with some  findings. I suggested a minor revision before its acceptance for publication. The details are as follows,

1) The importance of this study should be more emphasized, especially the importance of ABLH over Madrid should be added in the introduction.

2) Since the results are strongly dependent on the time period and observation sites, the studying region should be mentioned in the conclusions.

3) The English should be further polished.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

The English should be further polished, especially the gramma and verbose sentences, which are difficult to be understood.
