Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear  editors/ authors

At the beginning of the manuscript, we see no data in abstract

it is an agronomic science, it must resume data of experiments done

I think the manuscript must be resubmitted after taking care of abstract discussion and conclusion

and update it with new papers of 2022

best regards

1. Please give more detail about the methodology of chemical parameter analysis

2. Please give more discussion on the results

3. Please write more about the further study and how to apply this research

REVISION NOTES-Reviewer 2

  1. Please give more detail about the methodology of chemical parameter analysis

The methodology of chemical parameter analysis has been briefly described in the Analytical and Statistical Methods subsection (lines from 141 to 155)

  1. Please give more discussion on the results

Further discussion of the results shown in the Development of the Composting Process subsection has been made.

  1. Please write more about the further study and how to apply this research

The abstract and conclusion sections have been rewritten, indicating the purpose of the study, important findings and important issues to be addressed in the further studies.

Reviewer 3 Report

Generally speaking, the paper is acceptable for publication and informative to your audience.  The data is thorough and complete.  A few minor comments are as follows:
Grammatical corrections should be made in lines 49 and 55. The exceptionally high CV in the GI (%) in Table 2 makes this parameter basically meaningless.  An explanation of why the CV is so high should be provided.  Also, a clear indication of how this parameter relates to the GI (%) discussed in Table 6 should be clarified...those are my only comments...

This is an informative paper and I highly recommend it for publication...

Done

The exceptionally high CV in the GI (%) in Table 2 makes this parameter basically meaningless. An explanation of why the CV is so high should be provided.

The wide range of GI values for the crop residues shown in table 2, with CV values greater than 100%, could be due to the wide variation in the values of this parameter, from 0% to GI measurable values. This explanation has been included in the text of manuscript (lines from 295 to 297).

Also, a clear indication of how this parameter relates to the GI (%) discussed in Table 6 should be clarified...

The relationship between the GI values of the agro-livestock residues studied (table 2) and the values of this parameter in table 6 has been included in the text of the manuscript (lines from 406 to 413)

Those are my only comments... This is an informative paper and I highly recommend it for publication...
