The journal retracts the article titled “Honeybee and Plant Products as Natural Antimicrobials in Enhancement of Poultry Health and Production” [1], as cited above.
Following publication, concerns were raised regarding an overlap between this review article and another manuscript [2] that was under consideration for a different journal within the same timeframe, which was authored by a different research group.
Adhering to our standard procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board that confirmed a significant overlap in content between the two mentioned publications. Furthermore, following discussions with the authors and their institution, the Editorial Board was unable to verify the originality of the publication and the sources of its content. Given the overall similarity between the publications and the unresolved concerns regarding the article’s originality, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this paper in accordance with MDPI’s retraction policy (MDPI|Research and Publication Ethics).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Sustainability.
The authors did not agree to this retraction.
