Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Researcher

This article presents a comprehensive and meaningful analysis of how teleworking affects job satisfaction and quality of life of public sector employees in Peru. It stands out for its innovative approach in a less explored context and for the use of robust and validated statistical models. The insights it offers are not just theoretical; they have practical implications for shaping more effective teleworking policies.

The methodology is sound and the results are transparent and replicable, adding credibility. The article effectively bridges the gap between theory and practice, making it a valuable resource for researchers and policymakers focused on improving workplace well-being through teleworking. While there are some limitations, such as the lack of a longitudinal perspective, the strengths of the study provide a solid foundation for future, more extensive research.

However, it is essential to note that Figures 1 and 2 need to be improved, as their current quality is too low and affects the overall presentation of the findings. Improving these images will make the results more understandable and impactful. On the other hand, there are some references that are completely in capital letters or with a lot of spacing (ref. 6, 12 and 13)

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Authors,

Thank you for your submission and for conducting such an important research.

I have reviewed your paper and I can testify that it is well-written, informative, and reflects a well-implemented study.

I have only few review comments, suggestions, and recommendations for your consideration as follows:

Abstract

keywords: it is recommended to arrange keywords in an alphabetical order.

Introduction

line 64: you mentioned using information and communication technologies (ICTs) to interact with colleagues and fulfill job responsibilities. I suggest elaborating on this point a little bit more and how ICTs contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs). Easy access to ICTs significantly increase access to tele-services and strive to provide universal and affordable access to internet-related services. Telework model has been on the rise and has proved to be helpful, useful, and successful paradigm.

Materials and Methods

Study Design: please add what the abbreviation "PLS" stands for as it appears for the first time in text.

Measurement instruments: was the questionnaire pilot-tested? please add relevant and supportive statement.

Ethical considerations: please add ethical approval information to conduct this study (institution name, ethical approval date and number).

Results

Please add the study participants demographic data (the study sample demographics could be represented in a table for better readability and visual representation). Please report all sociodemographic variables (age, gender, type of contract, level of education, marital status, and years working in the organization).

I will be happy to look at the revised manuscript.

Many thanks.

Best wishes,

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

A study of sustainable work practices in the digital age and  the context of their impact on employee health and job satisfaction in  Peruvian public sector is an interesting and original study. The work is clearly structured and logically justified. The authors chose the correct methodology and qualitatively tested it on the available data. The authors obtained interesting research results that coincide with the prevailing scientific opinions on this topic.  Nevertheless, the work is not without drawbacks.  First of all, I would recommend that the authors take a broader look at the topic and revise the wording of the title of the article, making it more fundamental and short. Perhaps getting to know the human-oriented approach in the development of the organization, which is becoming a global trend in HR, will help them in this. And it is remote work or hybrid work that is one of the 5 basic principles of human-centricity in a modern organization. More detailes at:Suciu, M. C., Plesea, D. A., Petre, A., Simion, A., Mituca, M. O., Dumitrescu, D., ... & Nasulea, D. F. (2023). Core competence—as a key factor for a sustainable, innovative and resilient development model based on Industry 5.0. Sustainability15(9), 7472.

Also, in my opinion, the authors should reformulate the conclusions section, leaving only the final and most important results of the study and to remove other one.

After small improvements I think that the manuscript will be ready for publishing.
