That is an interesting paper. The analyses that you used apperaed to be a bit complicated. However, ıt covers abour 17 years and the diagram gives a very extensive structural overview on the pepper industry.

I have no objection to any point.

Dear authors, you have drafted your manuscript properly with adequate analysis and description. From my perspective, the manuscript is ready to be published in this journal.

1.      The authors have nicely drafted the manuscript entitled “Evolution Modes of Chili Pepper Industry Clusters under the 2 Perspective of Social Network — an Example from Xinfu District, Xinzhou, Shanxi Province” describing the progression and influencing factors of the chili pepper industry from 2006 to 2020 from a social network standpoint, using 11 both theoretical and empirical methods as well as incorporating field survey data.

2.      The topic is relevant and nicely discussed by the authors.

3.      Material and methods have been described and opted for properly.

4.      The authors have clarified the factors influencing the development of 467 clusters and development modes for each stage of the industrial cluster. Conclusions are consistent and is evident through the draft itself.

5.      References are up-to-date and relevant to the study.

6.      The tables and figures are self-explanatory and analyzed properly.

 

According to my understanding and opinion, the manuscript must be accepted at present state.

This paper by Yu et al. entitled Evolution Modes of Chili Pepper Industry Clusters under the 2 Perspective of Social Network — an Example from Xinfu Dis-3 trict, Xinzhou, Shanxi Province' aims to characterize the development phases of the chili pepper industry cluster in Xinfu District, China using a social network perspective.

Generally, the paper is good written I suggest to accept it after moinor revision and here below are some comments arranged by section

1/Abstract: the abstract is fine and good written

2/Introduction: The introduction section is clear and concisely written in my opinion

3/The materials and methods section is fine and detailed with all required information and data

4/Result section is good but relatively long many unncecessary and repeated sentences should be deleted and properly managed 

5/Discussion section is fine

5/The conclusion section is good but lacks 1-2 sentences regarding the limit of the present study and where should futur works focus based on the present output 

6/References OK
