Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The topic and the consideration of the Italian FFF community is very interesting and can be a good starting point to increase the knowledge about the people in these communities and their approach. In this way, we can see the ways to strengthen them and create more support from the others. Academically, the introduction and literature review is fine and very informative even for the untouched readers. We can also easily follow the flow of the text.

Concerning the methodology, the tables and the questionnaire are good. The use of MCA as a method is also adequate for the analysis. Figure 2 explains all; the surge of four groups of individuals is a good consequence. In the conclusion part, surely always the authors can try to inspire more but it's good.

I liked the text and the methodology, I think that the authors should try to continue in this line of research to seek ways to improve the approach of " disillusioned technophobes" in similar communities and among the people.
