Too Defeated to Work? The Effects of Dispatched Employees’ Upward Social Comparison on Time Theft
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
This paper it is really an interesting study which tries to fill the gap by exploring the relationship between USC and time theft of dispatched employee.
In order to reveal whether there are conditions to reduce the loss, this study specifically focused on relational energy (a social resource), in addition to psychological availability (a personal resource) which are two principal types of resources.
A suggestion can be, for future studies, to explore more resource-relevant variables in order to enrich the findings and take into considerations more theoretical perspectives.

Why was the Social Comparison approach chosen in this Time Theft manuscript? What are the main scientific questions answered by this research? These issues require more apparent clarification. Theoretical analysis is still simple to fully reflect the inherent logical relationship between the Defeated to Work and the factors that influence it. Does the Defeated to Work problem in the case area have any salient characteristics? Is the problem representative? These problems require more apparent clarification in the method. A more in-depth analysis of the mechanisms of Social Comparison on time left approaches influencing Defeated to Work is needed in the analysis of the results and theoretical implications of the theoretical value of this study, and a more in-depth analysis and targeted analysis of the practical implications is needed to provide a better reference or guide for the case area. Some of the limitations of the study area analysis, the logical theoretical relationship of Defeated to Work and Social Comparison, the basis of the plots and selected samples, and targeted suggestions should be illustrated more clearly.
