Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

ABSTRACT:

The abstract is written too long (must be shortened).

INTRODUCTIONS:

Contains theoretical description and introduction to the problem.

METHODS:

The research methods are stated but there are not clearly presented the research questions or hypotheses?

RESULTS:

This paper was prepared as part of a systematic literature review based mainly on official reports from organizations active in this field world wide. That's how the results were presented.

CONCLUSION AND FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS:

Author could be improved this section. In conclusion, point out which are the scientific and which are the social justifications of the research. Emphasize the importance of this approach.

REFERENCES:

Satisfies.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Manuscript entitled “Resilient agile education for lifelong learning post-pandemic to meet the SDGs” is suitable for Journal SUSTAINABILITY.

The paper presents the author's point of view on this topic.

It is a Review paper in the field, based on the literature and the author's experience.

Author Response

Thanks  for your time and efforts in the review and for the opportunity to improve my MS

This MS is a conceptual theoretical paper and thus the comments this not applicable and neither any actions taken (For empirical research, are the results clearly presented?)

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper addresses the question of lifelong learning, which is a very interesting topic. It also has an impact on current society. The topic has been discussed in several other papers, the novelty about this one is the relation to post-pandemic time, including the lessons learned during the pandemic, their relation to UNESCO and OECD proposals, and to resilience and resilient learning. It is clear and well written. The conclusions are consistent with the arguments presented and address the main question. As a suggestion for authors, I would recommend enhancing the “Method” section with more concrete information.

Reviewer 3 Report

The paper addresses an evergreen topic - namely that of the responsiveness, or how the author labels the resilience of educational institutions - in the light of the situation that has emerged owing to the COVID19 pandemic.

The manuscript is adequately structured and addresses the topic with the help of sufficient and mostly novel international literature.

The author has explored numerous relevant sources related to the changes during pandemics and how HEI have responded, however, the two parts are not connected to each other well.

The methodology is barely addressed/described. The author should ariculate research questions/hypotheses that relate the two topics together, with which the conclusions presented will formulate a coherent framework with. Through this the conclusions will be more consistent with the previous parts of the manuscript.
