Dear Authors

I'm still persuaded that your article is very interesting, well-written and very clear. I think that idea and the subject of the research are very interesting, and the results of the research give a lot of new information and possibilities for a further analysis.

I find your article very good. I really like your article and appreciate your work. It is interesting topic, and the conclusions could open the way for further research and my assessment of your research and whole article is more than positive.

Best!

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript has been sufficiently improved according to my comments and suggestions presented in the review.

This manuscript is a resubmission of an earlier submission. The following is a list of the peer review reports and author responses from that submission.

Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper  investigated the effect of social and cultural experience dimensions on loyalty towards hotel services, with customer satisfaction playing a mediating role. It is necessary to consider the following points.

First, we acknowledge the novelty provided by the variables of social and cultural experience, which are the most important in this study. However, in order for the value of one hypothesis to be recognized based on these variables, other competing hypotheses must be provided and tested. Such other competing hypotheses are necessary because social and cultural experiences have very similar characteristics. It would be good to discover new competing variables that compete with these two variables and verify whether social and cultural experience variables show more explanatory power than these competing variables.

Second, it is necessary to organize the implications of the research paper in more detail. It is necessary to present the theoretical and practical implications of this study. Authors need to think about making an implication and discussion section.

Third, the composition of respondents affects the results. Authors use a convenient sampling, but a description of the characteristics of the sample is required. It is necessary to analyze the sampling method and the sample.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper is concerned with investigating the effect of social and cultural experience dimensions on loyalty towards hotel services, with customer satisfaction playing a mediating role. The analysis based on a cross-sectional survey of 532 customers of 3-Star hotels in Lagos State in Nigeria, and it was carried out using a least squares structural equation modelling. The paper includes five hypotheses dedicated to social experience and loyalty, cultural experience and loyalty, and finally, customer experience and satisfaction and loyalty. The paper includes literature review, methodology, and results, as well as it presents findings, implications for theory and practice, as well as limitations and suggestions for future studies. In my opinion, the paper should be improved in the following directions:

1. The authors should clearly indicate how their research affects sustainability, how their paper is related to journal topics.

2. The subsection 2.2 includes only one subsection 2.2.1; I suggest removing title of subsection “2.2.1. Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) and Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory (EDT)” (lines 93-94).

3. The first reference to Table 5 and 6 is on page 8 (lines 315, 319, 324, 327), but these tables are inserted on page 11. I suggest moving these tables closer to their references.

4. The paper includes doubled Figure 1: “The hypothesized model showing the mediating role of …” (lines 241-242) and “Direct Path Co-efficient” (line 350).

5. Figures from 1 to 4 (lines 350 -357) should be described more precisely in the text.

Reviewer 3 Report

Your article is very interesting, well-written and very clear, I am grateful for the opportunity to read it. I think that idea and the subject of the research are very interesting, and the results of the research give a lot of new information and possibilities for a further analysis. Overall, I am very impressed because your article is very well done.

Reading the text, I found only 1 element that I think would improve your article.

The concluding part should be a short summary of the goals, methods, and findings of the article. These chapter should be expanded. For me, that part is too limited, there is too modest reference to your assumptions and your hypothesis and research questions.

Summarizing.

I find your article very good. I really like your article and appreciate your work. It is interesting topic, and the conclusions could open the way for further research. You should extend and complete the Conclusions part, but my general opinion and my assessment of your research and whole article is more than positive.

Good luck!
